The SinoSource Miniature Kit has
proven to be a great resource for presenting merchandise options to cremation
clients. Following are some important points and ideas for using the ?ini
Kit.?Many ideas have come directly from funeral directors that have discovered
these uses while working with client families.
For every miniature urn in the kit, there is an adult urn of the same shape and
design. This means that you can show an entire line of cloisonn?urns without
having to either carry a large inventory of adult urns, or use a catalog or
book of pictures to show the urns that are available.
The display of the urns in the kit is attractive, and families will typically
take them out of the box to look at them. Frequently, the family will begin
asking questions about how these miniatures are used, which opens the door for
the counselor to discuss ?and the family to explore ?the many options
available. Try keeping the display box open right on the counseling table
before you begin the arrangement conference. This has been very effective, and
requires very little effort on the part of the counselor.
If the family is going to scatter the cremated remains, and is hesitant to
purchase an urn for this purpose, they may see value in keeping a small portion

The family may want to divide the cremated remains so that those closest to the
deceased can retain a keepsake portion. The Miniature Kit not only helps the
family explore this possibility, but the selection of miniatures allows each
person to have the design most meaningful to them.
If the family is going to inter the cremated remains in a cemetery, the family
can choose the miniature urn that matches the adult urn which holds the
cremated remains as a remembrance piece to keep at home on a dresser, or at

The miniatures can be removed from the box and set up in a multi-level display

Many of the miniatures in the kit match or compliment the designs of memorial
books currently on the market. If the memorial books are on display, the
counselor can take the miniature urn out of the box, and set it next to the
memorial book. Alternatively, the miniature urns can be used in a set display
of memorial books, or ?ackaged?with the books. This can open up more
possibilities for the family and increase their satisfaction in the services
and merchandise they select.
Of course, the miniature urns can be displayed beautifully with their
matching adult urn and keepsakes, bud vase and picture frame. It is not unusual
for a family to purchase the entire set.
The Mini Kit can be easily taken along when a family is counseled at home. The
family doesn? need to make their merchandise decisions from pictures, or
forego their right to know the options available to them.
